What are the venues like?
- Diverse. Each venue will be unique in its atmosphere. It will include art gallery space, outdoor plazas, lobbies, legitimate theaters, chapel space, and more!
- Seating will range from 20 to 200. You will be provided with site specifications and other details at a later date by the Festival Coordinator.
- You will be sharing a venue with other groups.
- Each venue will have basic lighting.
- You will have extremely limited technical rehearsal time. Think in terms of – lights on, lights off.
- You must provide a production stage manager and a crew needed to set and strike (if necessary). If sharing a venue, each company is allowed 10 minutes for set up and 10 minutes for strike for each performance.
What is the performance schedule like?
At this point, a schedule has not been finalized. Schematically, we would like to offer performances beginning as
early as 5:00 p.m. and, depending on what is being presented, as late as 11:00 p.m. Any Sunday performances
will be restricted to mid afternoon. Productions will be scheduled based on a variety of factors, including size of
cast, general availability and appropriateness to the available spaces.

Do I get publicity for my show?
The Fringe Festival will be promoted locally and advertised as an event. Our website will have all the up-tothe-minute schedules, bios, etc. of all those participating. Listing of individual performances will be in the Fringe Festival program.
We look to the individual companies and artists to self-promote to the best of your ability, as building attendance
at the individual performances builds the audience for everyone. We suggest lots of word-of-mouth, printing and
distributing handbills, postcards, posters, table-tents, email blasts, etc. as effective methods of self-promotion.
